By presenting the ordinary in a transformative scenario, the project juxtaposes different states of seeing screened images and reveals the ambiguities and the impact of image production on human affect. In my visuals, I capture impressions of everyday life in the depiction of ordinary, mundane subjects. I represent the world surrounding us in a contemplative and seductive manner playing with time and scale, movement and the materiality of the image. I combine elements of contemplation with poetic and playfulness pulsating between figurative concretion and aesthetic abstraction to address the indistinct edges of the digital and physical.

Screens, cameras, images have enabled us to see the world from a different angle, different perspective. In my work, I aim to explore this potential and challenge perceptions of the everyday.
